A Robust Perennial border

Here we have designed and installed a mixed sun and shade border underneath an oak tree and a shade sail. The client wanted an English country garden design full of flowers, color, and whimsy. We used a mix of native and non native plants in this lush and vibrant planting. Additionally each year we plant her pots and planters with different annuals. Plants included are coral bells, black eyed Susan, echinacea, foxglove, Canadian ginger, hepatica, jack ‘n’ the pulpit, bee balm, culver’s root, and many more… (the last photo of the alleyway garden was not installed by May Apple, it was an alleyway community planting project.)
